Is there caffeine in Organic Plant Protein + Metabolism Blend?
While we don’t add any caffeine to the product, it does contain small amounts of naturally occurring caffeine from its organic ingredients. Each serving includes about 6.5mg or less caffeine in total from the organic green coffee bean extract and organic green tea extract. If you're enjoying the Creamy Chocolate flavor, it adds a bit more, about 9.5mg or less of naturally occurring caffeine per serving from organic cocoa.
For your reference, the Vanilla flavor contains a total of about 6.5mg or less per serving, and the Chocolate flavor contains about 16mg or less per serving. For comparison, an 8 oz cup of coffee typically has about 95mg of caffeine.
